Stone age network
The remnants of a stone age computer network were first discovered on an exploration in Mastodon Lands. Inside the stone building was racks of stone machines aligned in rows. Each machine contained crystal tubes and a spider weblike material with stone beads leaped into the strands.
This is similar to early computer mainframes of the 1940s and 1950s on Earth such as the whirlwind computer with vacuum tubes and magnetic core memory. Computers of this design also took up space in a large room with racks aligned into rows according to its function.

Study and archiving of the machines suggests that they were one unit connected through a tunnel by snakelike stone tubes embedded with crystal lines to another similar structure. sharing information between Mastodons and Sabretooth.
Further excavations of tunnels led to a discovery of a network far more reaching. extinct civilizations of Dire Wolves, Wooly Mammoths, Giant Ground Sloths, Giant Elks had similar building networks connected. Even an unknown civilization of Wooly Rhinos had been connecter to the network.
